I currently reside in Midlothian and absolutely love it.  The outdoors, baseball, and traveling takes up the majority of my time out side of work.

I received my biology degree from Blinn College in 2005; therefore I am an aggie fan.  I received my dental hygiene degree from Coastal Bend College in 2008.  I have also done research at North Carolina University in the Entomology department.

I have been working as a Dental Hygienist as of 2008.  This career path that I have chosen is what I have always wanted to do.  I absolutely love it.  Great staff and wonderful patients, I couldn’t ask for anything better.

In 2008 I joined the Waxahachie Family Dentistry team. If you have any questions regarding insurance estimations or treatment that has been diagnosed at our office, I’m here to help. I use my interest in technology to design our seasonal newsletter; you can begin receiving this via email, just give us a call. Houston is where I spent the majority of my childhood.  Most of my family now lives in the Waxahachie area. I have a cat, Maine Coon and Bengal mix; his name is “Snickerdoodles” and a Chihuahua, “JJ” who never goes without his favorite T-shirt.

I graduated Dental Hygiene School at TCC/Hurst in 2001 and have been working a as a Dental Hygienist ever since.  I have been in the dental field since 1995.   I began working in this office in 2007 and have enjoyed seeing Waxahachie Family Dentistry grow and over the years I have really enjoyed getting to know all of my wonderful patients.

I live in Midlothian and love the area.  I enjoy being a soccer mom for my daughter and I also enjoy being involved with my children and their school activities.

Jenny, Hygience Coordinator

Jenny, Insurance Coordinator/Hygiene Coordinator

I started working for Waxahachie Family Dentistry in 2010. As Insurance Coordinator, I provide the courtesy of verifying insurance coverage and eligibility. I’m the one to notify if any changes are made to your dental plan or when a patient is new to our office, I ensure the policy is effective and obtain a breakdown of benefits. As Hygiene Coordinator, I’m the one you will be hearing from every 6 months to schedule your professional dental cleaning and exam. If you aren’t using our email/text reminder system, give me a call.

I grew up in a small town in West Texas.  I married my high school sweetheart in 1997 and our family relocated to Waxahachie in 1999.  I have two boys and spend most of my extra time involved in Cub Scouts and leading children’s music at The Avenue Church.

I graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at TCC in May of 2009. My former hygienist convinced me that a career in dental hygiene is rewarding, and I am glad that I listened to her advice. I truly enjoy what I do and love working with all the wonderful patients here at WFD. I joined the team at WFD in Jan of 2010 and am very excited to be a part of such a great team.  I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree, though not from A&M, so it seems that I am outnumbered by all the Aggie fans here in the office....(hook 'em horns!) I was married in 2009, so most of my time outside of work is spent hanging out with my husband, watching movies, taking trips and working out.

Teeth and oral health has been an interest of mine since I was four years of age.   In 2007 I started my dental career by becoming a Texas Registered Dental Assistant and have acquired optional certificates in monitoring nitrous oxide/oxygen inhalation conscious sedation and pit and fissure sealant.  I am a proud member of the ADAA, TDAA, and DCDAS.  I am ambitious in continuing education, and am currently working toward national recognition as a D.A.N.B. (Dental Assistant National Board) certified dental assistant.

I care for my patients and do my best to make them feel comfortable.  I strive daily to be a caring person, wonderful wife, loving mother and cherish every moment of my blessed life.
